Currency Converter — Daily Reference Rates
Convert currencies using daily reference rates. Check the data date and historical trend before comparing the final amount quoted by your bank.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are these live trading prices?
No. They are daily ECB-based reference rates delivered by Frankfurter. Refreshing does not create a new market quote. Read the data date below the result.
Q. Why can weekend rates remain unchanged?
The latest available publication is used when no new rate is issued. Its date can differ from today, and a bank may offer a different transaction rate.
Q. Will my bank pay the displayed amount?
Not necessarily. Spreads, conversion fees and transfer charges are excluded. Compare the final amount charged for receiving the same foreign-currency amount.
Q. What if both currencies are the same?
The conversion rate is one. No foreign exchange takes place, so a historical conversion chart is not shown for that selection.
Q. What if a rate cannot be loaded?
A network or provider error is not a zero-valued conversion. Try once later; if the problem persists, consult your bank’s official quote.
Q. Where is my amount stored?
Conversion is calculated in the browser. Recent conversions may remain in this device’s browser storage. Currency codes and request information reach the rate provider. Clear site data on shared devices.

Worked example: Currency Converter — Daily Reference Rates
At a hypothetical KRW 1,350 per USD, USD 500 converts to KRW 675,000. If the final charge is KRW 681,750, the difference is KRW 6,750, or 1%. These are illustrative values, not current rates or a bank offer. Compare final quotes with the same date, amount and delivery method rather than treating this calculator as an exchange-rate forecast.
